0 B uploaded — this page has not sent your files to any server?

Private by design — your photo is never uploaded anywhere. Watermarking happens entirely inside your browser and the results are saved straight to your device. Once the page has loaded it keeps working offline, except that the first ZIP save fetches one small compression file from this site. How this differs from upload-based sites — most converter sites upload your photo to a server, process it there, and promise to delete it after a while. Until that happens, your photo is sitting on someone else's server. imgmoa has no upload step at all. The more sensitive the photo — a scanned ID, a photographed contract, pictures of your kids — the more that difference matters.

Stamp the same watermark on dozens of photos and get one ZIP back

Worrying that your blog or listing photos will be lifted is one thing; adding text to each one in an editor is another. This tool puts the same text or logo, at the same proportions, on every photo you add and hands the results back as a single ZIP. The marks are drawn on your browser’s canvas, so the photos are never sent anywhere.

A closer look

Watermark size and margins are not fixed pixel values; they are proportions of each photo’s shorter side. At a Size of 9%, the text height (or the logo’s width) is 9% of the shorter side, and the margin from the edge is 4% of it. That is why a mix of portrait and landscape photos at different resolutions ends up with watermarks that look equally prominent. The preview is drawn on the first photo in the list, scaled to 900px on its long side, but the actual results are produced at full original resolution.

The watermark is merged into the pixels, so it cannot be peeled off later; keep your originals somewhere safe. You can save as JPG (the default, at 92% quality) or PNG (lossless), and JPG fills transparent areas with white. Text is drawn in one line using your device’s default bold sans-serif font, and the font cannot be changed. There is no limit on the number of photos, but everything is computed on your own machine, so hundreds of very large photos take time and a lot of memory. Around 100 is comfortable on most computers.

How to use it

When it helps

Stopping blog photo theftLay your username faintly and diagonally across your own photos so it can’t be removed just by cropping a corner.
Copies of ID documentsWrite “For [company] only” and the date on a photo of an ID or bank statement so the copy is harder to reuse for anything else.
Shop and resale photosPut your shop name or seller handle small in the bottom-right corner so the source stays attached if the photo spreads.
Proofs and samplesRepeat “SAMPLE” in large type across unapproved photos or design drafts to discourage use before payment.

Common snags

A white box appears around my logo. The logo file itself has a white background. Use a PNG logo with a transparent background. For a logo or signature drawn on paper, the Signature & Stamp Background Remover can make a transparent PNG first.
The text disappears into the photo. The default text color is white, which is weak on bright photos. Switch to a dark color and turn on the shadow, or raise the opacity. The preview updates as you go.
The mark stands out on some photos but not others. The same settings apply to every photo, and the preview only shows the first one. Add your brightest or busiest photo first so it sits at the top of the list, and tune the settings on it.
Large batches are slow or freeze.Processing and ZIP packing both happen in your device’s memory. Split hundreds of photos into batches of around 100.

Tip Higher opacity means a stronger mark, so for a pattern repeated across the whole photo start lower than you would for a single corner mark and raise it while watching the preview.

Watermark FAQ

How many photos can I do at once?

There is no cap. Everything runs on your own computer, so hundreds of very large photos will take a while and use a lot of memory. Around 100 is comfortable on most machines.

My text is invisible / too loud.

Change the opacity and color. Dark text plus shadow works on bright photos; white works on dark ones. The preview updates as you drag, so you can just eyeball it.

What placement actually deters theft?

A single corner mark is easy to crop off. Turn on "Repeat diagonally" and the mark covers the whole picture, which is far more annoying to remove.

Does it reduce quality?

Photos are processed at full original resolution. PNG is lossless; JPG is saved at high quality (92%).

Are my photos uploaded?

No. From picking files to saving the ZIP, everything happens inside your browser. Nothing goes out over the network — it works with your Wi-Fi off.
